Lesson 9: The Kena-Kena Woman
Mele thinks back to when she was a Rinrinshi and all was dark. But a warm light came when Rio broke her free from grave and infused her with enough Rinki to make her human-like. She has been devoted to him ever since. Braco comes to her with an offer. The Gekiranger train as Jan is impatient once again for food. Miki tunes the GekiBazooka so they don't have to do so much work. Miki tunes it to a minute and 15 seconds but Master Shafu wants to shoot instantly but that would mean much more training for the three. Retsu thinks its because of Jan's Waza level but Ran stuffs their mouths with meat buns and tell them they must train. Meanwhile Mele thinks Braco came to her to give Rio the secret ringi Mandoku but he doesn't think much of him. Mele is insulted and fights him. He offers Mele to team up to destroy Rio because she can do so much better. Mele attacks Braco and he almost turns to stone but he turns into his beast man form using his secret Ringi Mandoku. Braco has six snake fingers, he uses one to give himself true life and death, it can reverse poison. He offers Mele true life, not like the fake one she has. She makes him retreat. She runs off after him in the forest and they fight. He beats her all the way to her Rinirinshi form. She tells him that he can't defeat Rio but he tells her that he has discovered that when he mediates, he sleeps, so he can attack. He knocks Mele off a cliff. Braco revives Kademu and Moriya to kill Rio. The Gekiranger practice their GekiBazooka and get it to 18 seconds. The others protest Jan's 'Pork Cube Stew!' that he says after the GekiBazooka shoots off. Mele attacks them. They try the GekiBazooka on her and she survives twice, to be able to face Braco for Rio. Braco, Moriya and Kademu sneak in to when Rio is mediating. Mele deflects the Gekiranger's third attack but she is very weak. They realize she was training and she left. The three venom fists try to kill Rio but Mele deflected them. Rio wakes up and transforms into Black Lion and kills Kademu. Moriya runs off. Braco retreats. Moriya attacks the city. Mele is about to kill Braco when he reminds them that he has three more fingers to revive and they need it for the three Kenma. She breaks off the three True Poisons and kills the Braco. The Gekiranger kill Moriya once again with the GekiBazooka. Mele gives Rio the three poisons to revive the three Kenma and he captures her heart once more.

Juuken Sentai Gekiranger Ep9
Retsu Fukami aka GekiBlue
When Rio severely beaten the triad, ShaFu convinced Rio to spare them until they learnt the Extreme Ki, the Kangeki. The Gekiranger were challenged by the Master Triangle, Retsu eventually beat Pyon Biao and gained the Super GekiClaw to become Super GekiBlue. Retsu got the biggest shock when he found out that no only his brother was alive but had become a werewolf. Gou was disappointed that he did not abide by his promise, but once he saw he wasn't as vunerable as he thought and a great fighter that draws beauty from the battles, he accepted Retsu. But that doesn't mean Gou doesn't give Retsu a hard time. In Episode 38, Gou warns Retsu of being overzealous. Retsu was attacked by GenJyu Minotaur-Fist Shiyuu, but it seemingly didn't have any effect and Retsu thought it was nothing. Gou warned him that every attack has a reason. The attack did have an effect, it brought Retsu's mirror self from the mirror world and trapped Retsu within the mirror world. The longer he would stay there, he would become the slave double. Luckily his brother saved him and he defeated his imposter twin. Retsu is very popular with the ladies, recieving flowers and candies every so often. In Episode 36, he goes after three female thieves with Elehan Kimpo and Sharkie that stole Elehan's Rasberry Diamond. One of the thieves, Cherry becomes smitten with Retsu. Retsu performs Sake Colored Dance Jaguar Drunk Ken on her disapproving sisters. After Ron was defeated by SaiDaiGekiRinTouja, Jan invites Rio and Mele to SCRTC. However, Ran and Retsu are relucant to have them live with them. Rio and Mele decide to undergo the Fist Judgement, knowing full well that their lives may be sacrificed in the process. Retsu takes on Rio in the Fist Judgement. During the final battle, Retsu is taken to an astral Confrontation Beast Hall, where he masters the RinJyu Jelly-Fist style, unifying both JyuKen schools. Retsu defeats Ron alongside both Jan and Ran, using his newfound abilities to seal Ron. After the battle is over, Retsu is seen teaching JyuKen to young children, one of them being Natsume, at SCRTC alongside Ran.

Retsu Fukami is an employee of SCRTC, as well as a Fierce Beast Jaguar-Fist artist. His technique is the Fantastic Technique of GekiBlue. Retsu is very intelligent but can be egotistical, doesn't take interest in others, and gives an impression of extreme coldness. He sometimes mixes English when speaking. He knows various techniques and styles, incorporating them when training. His attention to beauty costs him stamina, making his "Body" his weakest point, which he had to hone, in order to best Pyon Biao to obtain the Kageki. He gave up a profitable painting career to become a Gekiranger and did not follow his promise to his older brother that he wouldn't fight. His brother was once a student of ShaFu as well and thought to be dead. Retsu was sent to learn under Master Bat Li, who was stubborn to teach another student after being disappointed with previous pupils who never learned this skill. Retsu admired Bat Li and after witnessing his abilities, he let him learn under him but told him to abandon all technique. Retsu was weary of this at first, but eventually let go of his mind and learned the skill to use the Geki Fans.

Ran Uzaki aka GekiYellow
When Rio severely beaten the triad, ShaFu convinced Rio to spare them until they learned the Kageki. The Gekiranger were challenged by the Master Triangle, Ran tied with Michelle Peng in a skating challenge, working on her 'technique.' She received the Super Geki Claw to become Super Geki Yellow and conjure the Geki Penguin. She was recently appointed captain, which took her other teammates a while to get used to. With one of the Rinki of a Rinrinshi, she was turned into a sukeban, a 'delinquent girl.' With Miki's experience as a sukeban, she was able to snap out of it and overcome it. When her mother came to arrange her marriage interview, Ran had already decided her path in life was to protect the world. After some unsuccessful tactics orchestrated, it took an attack of GenJyuKen and Ran's courage to stand up to her mother, for her to approve of her following her own path. After Ron was defeated by SaiDaiGekiRinTouja, Jan invites Rio and Mele to SCRTC. However, Ran and Retsu are relucant to have them live with them. Rio and Mele decide to undergo the Fist Judgement, knowing full well that their lives may be sacrificed in the process. Ran takes on Mele in the Fist Judgement. During the final battle, Retsu is taken to an astral Confrontation Beast Hall, where she masters the RinJyu Hawk-Fist style, unifying Kata's style with her own. Along with Jan and Retsu, she defeats Ron, using her newfound power to seal him in a small ball. Some time after the defeat of Ron, Ran is seen alongside Retsu teaching JyuKen to young children at SCRTC.

Ran is not only employed by SCRTC but also a Fierce Beast Cheetah-Fist artist. She is referred to as the Honest Heart, Ran is meticulous everyday and refining her soul; She is conscientious and virtuous. She is the only daughter of a high-class family that also owns a gym. ShaFu recruited her with the condition that she would undergo a marriage interview when she came of age. This was arranged by Ran's mother to belief that it would safeguard her future. At first, Ran wanted to resign from learning the Beast Arts because she didn't think she was good enough but ShaFu told her to think her actions through. When in combat, she relies more on drive than technique. She excels in speed, but her reluctance to care for the small details make her 'technique' very poor. Ran being a fighter that gives 'heart' the highest place. Ran was the first to be trained by a Kensei and it was Elehan Kimpo. She had to overcome his fixation with her to learn how to master the GekiHammer.
