If I get one in NZ and take the first flight to Hawaii, for how much could I sell it for to a rich Mauian socialite?

Mmm, does this mean the person whoever got the new 3G iphone from one of those three stores will be the earliest one got the new 3G iphone geographically?

FWIW, the email also said that the iPhone would be available from Vodafone NZ's online store from midnight. It's likely that those would arrive Monday, rather than later on Friday, I would think.

So much for popularity of the iPhone. Today at 10AM they wanted to release details of the contracts and since 10AM on-the-dot the Vodaphone website's down.

try spelling the URL with an "f"

both work equally but you're right it should be an f.

Maybe now the whining Canadians will shut up. For a measly 1GB/month of data it's going to cost US$190/month (with 600 minutes and 600 txts). I'd take the Canadian plans over that any day.

The contract details have just been released. To pay $199 at launch you must sign up for a $250/month contract. The cheapest plan available is $80 a month. Vodafone screws us again. It'd work out cheaper to fly to Australia, buy the unlocked one, and bring it back to use on prepay!
