Photoshop Tutorial Obsession
July 7, 2008
I believe the three best ways to learn new things are:
- Don’t be afraid to play around!!!
- Don’t be too proud to learn from others wisdom.
- Take all you’ve learned, and play with it to keep learning!
The following are a few of my favorite Photoshop Tutorials:
- Photoshop Matte Painting - taking an ordinary house and turning it into something spooky
- Interweaving Photo Strips - cool basket weave effect
- Removing Photo Background - my favorite way, involving quick mask vs. the pen
- MacStyle Gallery - even tho I generally hate anything “Mac” or “Apple”, I do think this is a nifty gallery style that has many potential applications
- Grunge - a whole host of awesome grunge PS techniques
- Tips & Tricks - one author’s list of musts
- Inspiration - ’nuff said
- Excellent Tutorial Website - by far one of the best tutorial archives on the net…and its British! w00t
